Earlier today, the SUPDECO Banjul Campus Students’ Union delegation, led by Her Excellency Mam Marie Darboe, President of the Students’ Union, and ably accompanied by the Honourable Ministers, paid a successful courtesy call on His Excellency Muhammed B.S. Jallow, Vice President of the Republic of The Gambia, at his esteemed office at the State House in Banjul.
The engagement served as a formal introduction of the Students’ Union to the Office of the Vice President, highlighting its vision, mandate, and strategic priorities. Deliberations centered on prospective scholarship packages for deserving students, the Union’s annual activities calendar, and pressing matters concerning student welfare. Discussions further explored avenues for strengthened institutional partnerships between the two bodies, aimed at fostering academic excellence, leadership development, and sustainable national advancement.
