Community Life
Associative life at Supdeco offers students the opportunity to carry out projects as a team, to learn about taking responsibility. It is considered an essential component of the training of the Group’s students and is assessed on the same basis as academic knowledge.
Students can choose to become involved in some twenty clubs or to create one. They are supervised by a person in charge of community life and by tutors. At every stage of their projects, they benefit from the advice of experts, teachers in marketing, finance or management.
Some of the most important clubs are:
- The Student Bureau (BDE) which organizes and coordinates the school’s associative life (integration week, gala evenings, African Day, etc.). It also acts as an interface between the students and the administration of the Supdeco Group.
- The JPCE: Junior Enterprise, run by the students themselves who carry out studies on behalf of companies.
- Supdeco humanitarian : To promote solidarity and fraternity within the school through mobilizing activities and also carrying out humanitarian activities for children and support for disadvantaged populations.
- Supdeco Culture: Promoting African culture, but also corporate culture.
- Supdeco Voyages: Discover Senegal and Africa to students through tourist excursions.
- English Club: Promote the practice of English among students through various activities.
Sports Activities
The training of the manager at Groupe Supdeco Dakar incorporates, in addition to the acquisition of professional knowledge and skills, a sports practice that is perfectly integrated into the curriculum.
All students are required to practice a sport, under the supervision of qualified and top-level sports teachers. The activity is assessed and the grade is integrated into the calculation of the student’s overall average.
The intensity, seriousness and means used have allowed the Supdeco Dakar Group to see great national and international champions, such as Olga BAMPOKY, African Karate Champion; Khady BOYE, African Judo Champion, etc.
Physical activity and sports are an integral and mandatory component within the Supdeco Group. The Group also provides its students and the Administration with a sports centre open 7 days a week.
Documentation and Information Centre
In addition to a high-level faculty, the Supdeco Dakar Group provides students with high-quality teaching facilities. These include the CDI and the Computer Centres.
A true niche of knowledge, the CDI contains several books from collections covering the fields of management, marketing, human resources, finance, economics, business law, taxation, transport and logistics.
